BGF has appointed Simon Calver (former CEO of Lovefilm and Mothercare), along with Harry Briggs (Balderton Capital) and Rory Stirling (MMC Ventures) to lead its new venture capital fund. A £200m cash pot will generate country-wide investments ranging from £500k-£5m, aimed at tech start-ups.
