Globalisation on pause? How scaleups can navigate today's uncertainty
9:30 am - 10:30 amBGF launches recipe book in Tenner Challenge
For the past three years, BGF has sponsored Young Enterprise, a national charity that seeks to empower young people to explore and develop their entrepreneurial skills.
Every March, as part of the Young Enterprise Tenner Challenge, tens of thousands of 11-19 year-olds are given £10 to start and run a business for the duration of a month. In addition to sponsoring Young Enterprise, BGF has joined the teams of young people from all across the UK in taking up the Challenge ourselves.
Food for Thought: Recipes to fuel Entrepreneurial Britain is packed full of delicious recipes provided by CEOs and chefs from some of the businesses we’ve backed – Camino, The Coaching Inn Group, Giggling Squid, Kids Planet, Barburrito, Oliver Sweeney, Boost Juice Bars UK, Gousto, Bar Soba – enthusiastic cooks at BGF and a few of our culinary friends. We’re really quite proud of the result.
Will you join us in supporting Young Enterprise by purchasing a copy while stocks last?
To buy a copy, visit our Just Giving page and click on ‘Donate’. Then add your name, delivery address and email address in the message section.
One copy of the book is priced at a minimum of £5, but please give generously if you can. It’s for a great cause!
