Highlighting the importance of attracting business and young talent to the UK, Briggs emphasised the need to make Britain business- and talent-friendly. The trading disadvantages of leaving the EU bloc can be compensated for by following the example of Hong Kong: simplify regulation to attract companies and lure foreign talent.
