The Good Care Group received a funding package from BGF and Santander to expand its at-home care services.

Founded in 2009 by Fiona Lowry, The Good Care Group’s vision is to be the leading provider of high quality home care services that enable people to live well in their home for longer and avoid moving into a residential care home.  The Good Care Group is leading the way in supporting those with medical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, MS and Motor Neurone disease, to help improve wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Regulated and approved by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), The Good Care Group provides full time, day or respite care and employs more than 700 professional carers who receive market-leading training to ensure the highest standards of care.

Fiona Lowry, founder and Chief Executive said: “Our focus remains firmly on building a business that is dedicated to driving up standards and professionalising home care. We know that there is an opportunity to reach even more people throughout the UK and this funding allows us to do so.

The investment was led for BGF by Rory Pope, Will Gresty and Tom McDonnell.
