Odro presses play on partnership with Hays

BGF portfolio company Odro has partnered with Hays, the leading recruiting experts, to give over 1,800 recruitment professionals across the UK and Ireland access to its video interviewing and engagement technology in a multi-year partnership.

The contract was confirmed earlier this month following a successful pilot programme which saw Odro roll out its award-winning platform to a team of 250 recruitment consultants over a three-month trial period.

It’s a significant win for Odro and comes just two months after the company announced a £5.2 million investment from BGF to fast track growth both in the UK and internationally.

During the trial, Hays consultants were onboarded and trained in Odro’s full product suite, including asynchronous and two-way interviewing, digital shortlisting, video sales messaging and content production.

Success was measured throughout. Roddy Adair, Director at Hays, said: We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our technology at Hays to help our staff in their day-to-day roles and our motivation for trialling Odro was to gauge adoption and to really put the tech to the test in terms of usability, demand from our customers, and, ultimately, results.

Onboarding across the UK and Ireland started mid-July and is ongoing.
