In 2018, we invested £3m into Maidenhead-based HeleCloud, an IT consultancy and managed services provider for Amazon Web Services (AWS). We provided the funding HeleCloud needed to grow its services portfolio, expand across Europe, and develop new cloud capabilities.
Later on, our follow-on investment enabled HeleCloud to make two strategic acquisitions: first, OlinData, an AWS consultancy firm in the Netherlands, followed by DataStork, a cloud software engineering and AI services company in Bulgaria.
By 2020, HeleCloud had achieved Premier Consulting Partner Status in the AWS Partner Network, working alongside global corporations and market disruptors such as Viber, NEX Group and Zopa. And three years on from our initial investment, it was acquired by Swiss multinational SoftwareONE, a leading provider of end-to-end software and Cloud solutions.
