Dee joined BGF in 2012 to lead IT operations and help define our first tech strategy during a rapid period of growth. He is responsible for IT service delivery, vendor relationships and ongoing programme management, including our IT compliance initiatives such as data security and GDPR. He travels frequently between sites but is based in our Birmingham office.
Prior to BGF, Dee was accountable for IT architecture and strategy, service delivery and change management in several private and third sector organisations. He was successful in leading a bid to deliver managed technology services such as CRM and BI to Business Link West Midlands, a government-funded support service that went on to provide £40m of funding to SMEs.
Dee is an ITIL v3 Expert and recognised Distinguished Professional in Service Management (DPSM) from itSMFs priSM programme. He has held PRINCE2 Practitioner, Advanced Programme Management Practitioner (MSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications.
Outside of work, Dee is a keen amateur photographer and enjoys quality time outdoors with his wife and two young children.
