Biography

Matthew joined BGF in October 2022, as part of the Investment team in London. His main role is in sourcing and executing investments, with a particular focus on TMT and business services.

Prior to BGF, Matthew worked as an Assistant Director at Calculus Capital, where he spent five years investing in early-stage UK companies, across the TMT and healthcare sectors. He began his career at Aberdeen Asset Management, rotating around various areas of the group, latterly working within the Pan-European equities team.

Matthew holds an MA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and is a CFA Charterholder.
