BGF publishes annual Review 2016/2017

Following an extraordinary year, BGF is proud to share its 2016/17 Review with you.

This Review offers an insight into BGF’s numerous achievements over the past year, showing that a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship continue to be the company’s driving force.

2016 was the year BGF celebrated its fifth birthday, passed a landmark £1billion of capital invested in growing UK businesses, and became the UK’s top institutional investor for the year.

Our new-look review includes important updates from all aspects of our business over the past year, covering a range of themes including acquisitions, capital investment, cyber security, board appointments and Brexit.  It gives further detail on BGF’s new investments across the UK in 2016 and looks at the success of BGF Ventures and BGF Quoted.

We also review BGF’s continuing work with The New Entrepreneurs Foundation (NEF) and Young Enterprise, highlighting the company’s commitment to supporting and nurturing young entrepreneurs.

Despite an uncertain political and economic future, 2017 is set to be another year of opportunity for BGF as we support Britain’s most entrepreneurial businesses and sectors.
