With over 100 consultants across the UK, Socitm Advisory provides a range of digital transformation services to public sector organisations. It aims to maximise organisational effectiveness, and to enhance customer and employee experiences. Founded in 2015, the business is headquartered in Northampton and is the sister company of Socitm – a membership network, comprising 250+ public services organisations engaged in tech-enabled modernisation.

“We are delighted to welcome BGF as an investment partner to support our vision of bringing inspiration to UK public services.”
Tony Summers
CEO of Socitm Advisory

BGF’s £5 million investment into the business is providing the foundations for Socitm Advisory to further expand its range of services and client base across local and central government and the wider public sector. Alongside our investment, we introduced Socitm Advisory to its Non-Executive Chair, Paul Heywood. Paul has significant experience of operating, growing and scaling businesses within the data and technology sectors. He previously served as Chair of DevOpsGroup, a BGF-backed IT consultancy and cloud services provider, which was successfully acquired by Amdocs (DOX) in 2021.

“We were attracted to Socitm Advisory by its focus on improving public services, the calibre of its people, and the ROI it’s delivering to clients. The business has strong ambitions to grow its services and influence in a large, addressable market, and we’re excited to be partnering with the team on this next stage of their journey.”
