BGF has strengthened the London team with the appointment of Dylan Kaye in the Origination function.
Dylan joins BGF from Houlihan Lokey, where he spent two years as part of the research and development team helping bankers source corporate finance mandates across a variety of different sectors. Dylan also worked with existing clients providing research in identifying M&A targets and potential buyers.
Dylan is based at BGF’s London office and will work with Adam Philippsohn to source new investments in London and across the South East, by focussing on sector based research, outreach and building upon the team’s advisor relationships.
We’re delighted to welcome Dylan to BGF. Our origination team plays a key role in identifying attractive businesses and supporting our investment team in market coverage.
Adam Philippsohn, Origination lead in London
“Given his previous role with Houlihan Lokey and his varied sector-based experience, Dylan stood out to us as a perfect fit to join BGF.”
Recent deals led by the London team include a multi-million pound investment into the specialist data & analytics recruiter, Harnham and the digital learning & communications business, MediaZoo. BGF also led the £70 million Series C funding round for Elvie, the global health and lifestyle brand developing products for women.
Dylan commented: “To be originating for the most active investor in the UK and Ireland at this phase of my career is exciting, and I look forward to supporting BGF’s minority focussed and flexible approach in backing ambitious entrepreneurs to execute their growth plans.”
