BGF & DevOpsGroup
In 2018, we invested £3m into DevOpsGroup, a Cardiff-based IT consultancy business that advises enterprise clients on adopting modern software development models. Alongside our investment, we introduced DevOpsGroup to its non-executive chair, Adam Hale. Adam brought nearly 30 years of experience working with tech-centric businesses, helping them become global leaders in the technology space.
We supported DevOpsGroup’s ambitious acquisition strategy, financing the purchase of another Cardiff-headquartered tech company, Agile Snap. Our backing also enabled the business to increase its consultant headcount. By expanding its team and operations, DevOpsGroup was able to deliver a larger pipeline of sales and, ultimately, revenues.
Having doubled its revenues over the course of three years, DevOpsGroup was acquired by US software and services provider Amdocs in November 2021.
