Plastique

In July 2014, we invested £5m of growth capital in Plastique. The funding was used to increase the company’s packaging capability and to expand its manufacturing facility in Poland.

Plastique became the first European manufacturer of smooth-surfaced thermoformed pulp packaging. After a period of sustained growth, in 2016, it was acquired by TEQ, an Illinois-based thermoformed packaging company and subsidiary of NYSE listed ESCO Technologies Inc.
