Datum360 (now part of Autodesk, Inc.) develops a software platform connecting disparate systems for large asset owners to seamlessly access engineering information and asset data.

Founded in 2009, Teesside-based Datum360 now has a global footprint and an impressive customer base, covering the power generation, utilities, food production, and infrastructure sectors.

We first backed Datum360 in 2020, exiting four years later, when the business was acquired by global software company Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK). The investment delivered a 5.9x money multiple (MM) return and an IRR of more than 60% for BGF.

Headquartered in San Francisco, Autodesk is a global leader in design and make software for a range of industries, including architecture, engineering, construction, operations, manufacturing, and media and entertainment.
