Panthera BioPartners was established in 2019 by Dr. Ian Smith, Founder of Synexus, and Professor John Lyon, a former senior executive at Covance and experienced entrepreneur. Their vision? To deliver high-quality clinical trial services to CROs and pharmaceutical clients, through the recruitment and management of trials at purpose-built centres of excellence.

Staffed by Good Clinical Practice-trained healthcare professionals, Panthera now operates six sites across the UK. These locations manage a range of clinical studies, including specialised secondary care areas, such as central nervous system, oncology, vaccines, and liver disease.
