Growth
2023

KCA Holdings (Key Computer Applications) has two subsidiary companies: Service Geeni, which develops a software platform for medium to large service management firms to streamline their processes; and Cloud Geeni, which supports UK SMEs with cloud-based IT solutions.

In 2023, KCA raised growth capital from BGF, to accelerate investment into its subsidiary companies: Service Geeni, a leading service and workforce management software platform, and Cloud Geeni, a growing Cloud IT service.

The technology group has grown significantly in recent years, and our backing will allow KCA to continue investing in its software design and development, cloud infrastructure, and technology.

Alongside our investment, BGF investor Harry Jones joined KCA’s board as a Non-Executive Director, while technology entrepreneur Arlene Adams was appointed as Non-Executive Chair. Arlene is best known as the founder of Peppermint Technology – a leading customer and business management platform, used by law firms around the world.

“I had known of BGF for some time, as they are very successful and active in the fast-paced technology sector. When they approached us, I was pleased they took the time to really get to know our management team and our business. They understand how we have successfully grown organically, and can see how we can further accelerate customer efficiencies and benefits with additional investment. BGF will help us build on these foundations.”
