Founded in 2010, OSL is a leading UK integrator of counter-drone and related drone and security technologies. It has strong partnerships across the industry, ranging from leading defence organisation to niche small and mid-sized suppliers. OSL is a trusted supplier to global airports and the UK Ministry of Defence, and has positioned itself at the forefront of technology, working closely with academia and winning R&D funding in the UK.
Since our initial investment in 2021, OSL has achieved significant growth, and established itself as a market leader in counter-drone detection and management solutions. Its technology is deployed across multiple critical environments, including Heathrow Airport and Wembley Stadium, providing advanced situational awareness and safeguarding airspace security.
With growth capital and support from our team, OSL successfully scaled its commercial operations and software capabilities, as well as pursuing an ambitious international expansion strategy. During our partnership, the business also expanded its workforce from 50 employees to more than 100, and strengthened its leadership team, with the appointment of a Chief Operating Officer.
In 2025, we exited our investment in OSL. The business was acquired by Terma A/S, a global provider of mission-critical solutions for defence, aerospace and security.
